According to reports, gunmen attacked the EFCC boss’ bungalow farmhouse in Karshi, Abuja at about 10pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.
Sources say a police man was killed during the attack, adding that it is the second time gunmen have come to the house.
Speaking on the incident, EFCC’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren said the anti-graft agency will not be intimidated.
Punch reports that Uwujaren also said “The unidentified men murdered a police sergeant on duty. The incident was the second such attack on the same farmhouse.
“While the commission will not speculate on the motives for the attack or the sponsors, it wishes to state that the EFCC under the leadership of Ibrahim Magu will not be deterred in its mission to rid Nigeria of corruption.”
